_We spent a great weekend in Helsinki shows. Kekko was the one and only proud representative of Shikoku breed on both showdays. Now he is also a Finnish Champion.
Big thanks to Marja and Kärt for such great company :).

We participated in Baltic Cup third event that was held in Tori in DS1 class with Woddy. As we have been enjoying the hot summer a bit too much and have not done any training, we took it really easy.

Results:
Track 5,3 km
DS1 - Woddy, first day 19.44, second day 19.45, total 39.29 ja 5. place

We went to Holland for the European Winner 2011 show and also for a little vacation in Amsterdam after the show. This time we did not win any titles, but all my 3 dogs got grade Excellent.

Shikoku is an ancient Japanese hunting breed, that was on the homeland used specially for hunting boar. So we went to the boar yard with Kekko for the first time. Kekko was really brave, barked and tried to snap the boar, but for some reason tried to approach the boar from front (should try from back). He was really fast and skillful to dodge the boars attacks, but one time got a little snap from the boar as well ;)

At 12th of March the final competition of Baltic Winter Cup 2011 was held in Pärnumaa.
Woddy and me accomplished 2nd place in women skijoring and also second in total. Woddy was working really hard through all 3 competitions, well I should train some more :), maybe next year.
Congratulations to Ülle for winning women skijoring.
Also young Yuki (Woddys son) showed really nice work with his owner Kai to whom this was first competition ... , surely not the last :)

We went to Tallinn international show in Saku Suurhall. Kekko showed himself very well and although he was in the middle of shedding, we had great results:

We went sledding in Tädu forest. There was a colorful bunch of Newfoundlands, Leonbergers, Landseers, Samojeds and of course Huskies. All had their own sledding pace, but at the camp site we all met again to warm ourselves near fire and to drink some hot tea/coffee.

We went to Latvia with Woddy to compete in women skijoring. The track was very extreme - hilly and full of curves. Woddy did great job and despite of me falling many times, we became second in women skijoring :)
There was 2 rides in one day and the second ride was in the dark with headlamps, which was the first experience in the dark for us.
The track was 4 km and the results:
First ride time 12:03, second ride 12:27, in total 24:30 and 2. place.

Congratulations to Mariin and Ülle who were first in their classes.
